Hello, my name is Rodrigo Beares, I live in Uruguay, I am 35 years old, and I am the founder of Beea Honey.

My journey in beekeeping began at a very young age. It was thanks to my father that I learned how to care for hives, harvest honey, and, most importantly, understand and respect bees and their natural cycles.

​

Over time, our passion for honey motivated us to expand from family production to large-scale commercialization. Today, our honey is not only available in 100% of the major supermarket chains in Uruguay, but we are also the only company in the country with the capacity to export packaged honey, now present in the demanding United States market through Amazon.

Additionally, we work with a large number of trusted suppliers, ranging from independent beekeepers to large producers spread across Uruguay. Our commitment to excellence drives us to closely know each supplier, visiting their fields to evaluate the management of the bees and the quality of the honey. Each harvest from each region of Uruguay is carefully selected to contribute unique characteristics to our honey, enriching its profile and flavor.

Each final product is packaged under strict quality controls at our plant, where they are numbered from 1 to 1111. We ensure that each batch comes from a single tank of honey, collected from a single apiary, and harvested by a single beekeeper. These apiaries are strategically located in Uruguay, designed to capture flavors, colors, and a diversity of pollen unique in the world, characteristics favored by the optimal geographical and climatic conditions for beekeeping that our country provides. In Uruguay, we combine natural and artificial pastures, native forests, and eucalyptus plantations, creating an ideal environment for honey with incomparable characteristics.
